The crust is very thin and shatteringly crisp.

It has a delicate flavor and incredible crunch. After toasting, it is ideal for ‘pan con tomate’ (‘pa amb tomaquet’ in Catalan), the famed Catalan tomato toast. It is also great for sandwiches or as a crisp bread served with your favorite soup or salad.
